Bought the pink 36L for a female friend.
Highly enjoyed camping with it in Malaysia, especially Cameron Highland. Used in multiple camp, mountain climbing scenarios.
It is light, protects against rain, if packed carefully can pack for about 1 week worth of clothing with packing cubes.

Using it again this month for a month long trip to Cameron Highland.

I also used the blue 36L on a recent trip to Hanoi.
Can easily pack 3-4 days of cloths plus shoes. Brought another bag, non-CZ bag. Airport security was easy, city was also easy to carry on the back, sit upright in the hotel, and fits in the overhead bin as advertised.

An awesome Backpack for every trip. I wash it every time after my trips since 2024 when purchased, and there is not even a single damage on it!

Multiple trips with this bag now. As a photographer I'm keen not to advertise the fact that I'm travelling with expensive kit and this does the job perfectly. I can fit inside it a separate camera bag with body and up to four lenses, then pad it around with sundry other bits and pieces. The compression straps and handgrips on the top and side keep everything in place and allow easy grabbing, and the big front pocket is ideal to hold everything needed to get through the airport and survive onboard. The stealth aspect is essential to me - in the nicest possible way the Classic Cabin Backpack doesn't look like anything special. The quality is great and the light weight is really appreciated!

We really like this backback, durable, lightweight and easy to pack. Same high quality as the other classic variants are.

I love this bag so much, that I came back less than a year later to buy one for my wife and three kids!!! They are lightweight, look great, and open all the way for easy packing/access. They fit so much that as a family of five we usually reduce the number of checked or carry-on bags we need by one.

Underseat Ryanair, easy jet and jet 2 2025

Travelled with the 36 on these airlines and more and didn't have any issues fitting under the seat Infront fully packed out with clothes easily does 1 weeks worth of summer clothes. Highly recommend! Washes well too. I thought I'd be more bothered by not having a bottle holder but I just slip it to the top of the pack and zip it up. It's fine

The best cabin bag you can get, it's incredible how much you can fit even in the smallest ones!

Great looks, poor ergonomics

I was amazed with the looks and overall composition of this 36l classic backpack. Unfortunately, the item's ergonomics is designed poorly. The backpack almost entirely rests on your lover back (sacral curve). So if you have it packed and heavy, the lower rim of the backpack will start killing your lower back after some time of walking. That is also because the upper part of the backpack does not press fully on to your back and leans away from your upper spine. You might say I need to adjust the straps properly, but that's not the case, as it cuts either your bottom or your kidneys depending on the length then. Never had this issue with any other backpack except this one. And the "best" part, now that I know it, is that this flaw is obviously visible in almost all of the advertising images and videos of Cabin Zero backpacks.
It seems the manufacturers/designers do not use their own product.

My trip became way harder than it should have been, still getting over the sour lower back. I would not recommend this product.

The best backpack.

Great travel backpack

This was bought for my son who used it on his recent trip to Japan. Worked great as his carry-on luggage, holds loads of stuff and fits easily into the overhead lockers. Also comfortable as a backpack while sightseeing all day. A great all-round bag. Looks good too! Highly recommend.

Handy, well-priced backpack, with some missing finishing touches

I purchased this to use as a personal item on EasyJet, knowing that in spite of it being listed as 36L, in practice it's a fair bit smaller. As long as it's not packed to the gills, this does fit their required dimensions.

Positives: good front clamshell opening, comfortable to wear (I'm 161cm/5'3"), good carrying handles, nice colour, seems well-made (nice fabric, good zippers & clips), compression staps are really handy

Negatives: accessing the interior computer pouch when at airport security is a nightmare, there should be a zipper at the top back to access the back of the pack where the laptop sleeve is, but instead you have to open from the front, peel back the side and force your way in. My laptop is only 14" and quite slim and it was impossible to put back in without stopping and actually fully opening the backpack. Not ideal!

On balance though, this is great value for money and I don't regret buying it at this price point. If you're not traveling with a laptop, then this is a non-issue, though you might miss extra features that more expensive packs have such as a water bottle holder, or a quick access pocket at the top of the pack.

Best travel backpack of all times

I've used this backpack for the last 5 years, traveled Asia for 2 months with no other luggage but this, fitting 10+kg of stuff.
I've use it as under seat bag while flying at least x2 per month on many different companies (Ryanair, Wizzair, Easyjet, AirAsia..) and never had problems.
The quality is great and the space is incredible.

Second great Cabin Zero bag.

Have had a 44l bag for a while now (still in perfect shape and regular use), decided to buy a smaller version for the flexibility of trip lengths and not disappointed. The bags are so well made and tough, flexible on how you use them and a great range of colours. In addition the website is easy to use, delivery is quick and I love the addition of the tracking tag. Will definitely be building my collection of Cabin Zero bags.

I’ve had this backpack for 5 years, with multiple backpacks in between. I seem to always reach for this one. It’s more comfortable than backpacks I have that were twice the price. It’s extremely well made and aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I’d want to add it a luggage hanger on the back. 10/10.

Perfect for yoga class

My 36l Cabin is part of my everyday life, going to meditation studio, gym and shoping, perfect for all my needs on a normal day. Perfect style and capacity. I love it every second, on a rainy or sunny day
